BIO

Brian Scott

-Joined Air Force 2005
-Served 2 almost back to tours in Iraq 2006 and 2007
-Was injured in Iraq in 2007 and medevac’ed via helicopter to Baghdad to a hospital there to receive more modern medical care then sent back home to the U.S.
-2009 served in Osan, South Korea and had massive shoulder rebuild surgery using my own hamstring ligaments
-Deployed to Kuwait in 2012 where I watched my now 4yr old son born via Skype and fractured my spine n herniated a lower disc but the fracture was missed for 3 years
– served at McGuire NJ where I suffered 2 hernias in 2013 then was diagnosed with severe compartment syndrome in both of my legs and had to have a fasciotomy preformed one leg at a time. I had severe complications with the second surgery and developed a blood clot and a large hematoma and had to have emergency surgery to evac the leg to have a drain put in which was scary and I didn’t walk unassisted again till Feb 17th 2014

God knows the next move and I believe this story of service and sacrifice and a willingness to never quit is something that could become a huge impact with the help of our team. I feel honored to now serve with Team Midway.
