Taurine

Japan’s life expectancy is among the highest in the world. In Japan, Okinawa, often called “Island of Longevity”. That is because it has the world’s highest percentage of people over 100 years old. The interesting thign is. That among many possible reasons for these longest-living populations there is a common fact. They have a high dietary intake of an amino acid called taurine.

Amino Acid

amino acid

There is a strong relationship between this nutrient and long life span. It is the amino acid that aids in anxiety control and stress management.

Cortisol

It is does this by lowering cortisol and helps people sleep better. The connection between it and a long life is very strong. Researchers have dubbed taurine, “The nutritional factor for the longevity of the Japanese.”

It was also called “THE WONDER MOLECULE”. Taurine supplementation strengthens and protects heart muscle cells and the blood vessels. it helps to protect against atherosclerosis, heart attacks, and strokes.
