The Importance of Sleeping
Sleeping well is essential not only for your health and beauty but also to improve physical fitness. Statistics show that 16 to 40% of people in different populations suffer from insomnia. Primarily as a result of their reducing their time spent asleep to accommodate more working hours.
Sleeping well is not only important to physical and mental well-being. What is known as
“beauty sleep” is of paramount importance to many physiological mechanisms. Interruptions can bring serious consequences to health and physical fitness. As well as speed up of the aging process and increasing susceptibility to infectious diseases.
During sleep, the body increases the production of hormones (primarily, Growth Hormone, or GH). That has its peak synthesis occurs around one hour after the body enters the phase of deep sleep.

For this reason, it is very important that a body reaches the deep sleep phase as soon as possible. The use of some supplements such as melatonin can be very interesting in this way.
Deep Sleep
GH production is associated with benefits like limiting the body’s increasing in fat. Aiding the body in fighting off osteoporosis, improving the synthesis of muscle proteins, and increasing physical performance. The less time one spends in deep sleep, the less GH the body produces.
Another hormone produced during sleep is Leptine. It is responsible for the feeling of satiety. People who have limited “beauty sleep” experience a reduction in Leptine synthesis, and as a result the body feels the need to increase its food intake.
